Background

Kim is a physiotherapist with a special interest in neuro-musculoskeletal physiotherapy.

She grew up in Pietermaritzburg and went on to study at Wits. In her final year at University in 2005, she was awarded the Jean Blair medal for the student with the top practical result in physiotherapy.

She completed her community service at the Assessment and Therapy Centre in Pietermaritzburg, and after working for two years in a private sports physio practice she moved to Durban. In 2008 she completed her OMT (orthopaedic manual therapy) in the Western Cape and has subsequently assisted and lectured on the Durban OMT course.

Kim started working from the Beachmed premises in 2011. In 2014 Melinda Gould joined Kim as a colleague at Beachmed. Melinda is well known as a physiotherapist, having run her own private practice in Durban North. Mel has a wealth of knowledge and together they make a great team.

Kim lives in Durban North with her husband and two children.
